Latest Report from Alabama: Tornados

We have moved on to Oneonta, AL, an area that was hit by 2 tornados. Please keep us in your prayers that we would remain faithful to the call on our lives as we help those here and once again attempt to Make Jesus' Name Known.

We have been busy getting Mountain Pointe Ministries Church ready to house volunteers. We added a shower and sink to the church, and worked on the electric and internet access.  We tarped 3 homes and one barn before the rains set in, assessed several homes and have begun clearing trees.

Doug from the Apison, TN area, Brian from Sarasota, and Ed from Brooklyn have joined us and we are expecting Lee and Pam from NC later this week. Next week, Darren and some of the guys from CC Chattanooga will be here.  So far we've got a great team but could use you so contact us if you want to be part of our team!

We also looked at an area south of here that was hit by a tornado and hasn't had any help yet.  If we get enough help and/or finish up here, we'll more than likely go there to help a little.

We could really use a Bobcat type skid steer to help us move debris.  We thought we had several available to us and one by one they all fell through.  Please pray that God would provide one or the funds for us to rent one.

It's getting warm as summer approaches. It was 94 in the sun today so pray for cloud coverage, no rain, low humidity and plenty of cool breezes!

Thanks for all your prayers and support.
