Here is the latest picture of what has been done with the church in Hernani. My son Joshua is there watching over things now and doing a great job of continuing the work there with the teams and the nationals.
Foundational pillars are being poured now for the second level along with the foundational slab for the ground floor, since they all have to be poured together for the strength of the building. Crazy since all is still being done by hand. We did also continue the work at the Bible School, with Glen from CCLM now helping to watch over that project after after Pastor Bong got them going. They had a little trouble getting the sand to quit caving in on them there while digging the foundational footings for the pillars, but Pastor Bong showed them how to shore it up and now they have two foundational pillars in place and are working on the other 8 that are needed.  We continue to feed the children, and now with school trying to go back into session we are feeding the whole student body and teaching staff in Hernani, there were originally 482 children in the school about 200 of them have returned to school, some are still unknown about, others have moved with family in other parts of the island. CC Dumaguete and the Bible College along with the "U" Turn family and visiting teams are doing a Christmas party for the school kids with all of the teams doing the ground work for that event these last couple of days, it will take place tomorrow in the Philippines. The Superintendent of Education had a meeting with me before I left asking us to expand into two other brg. that were so devastated and also asked if we could help with some school supplies (pencils, pens, paper, erasers and any out dated books from any of our schools which would help them greatly since all was lost in the typhoon.
God Bless you all as we work together to help those so devastated.
That is all for now guys, keep praying, and thanks for the help everyone is giving.
God Bless!
