The Red Cross is calling this the worst disaster to hit the US since Hurricane Sandy.  Unofficial reports estimate as many as 150,000 homes damaged !  They also estimate that 75% to 80% of those affected do not have insurance to cover their losses.  Many of the victims we have spoken to have lost everything.  Calvary Christian Fellowship in Baton Rouge is taking the lead on this operation.  We have a base of operations set up and are ready to receive teams and financial support.  Although there has been little news coverage, I cannot begin to paint an accurate picture as to the scope of this disaster.  Once again we have a huge opportunity as the Body of Christ to be His ambassadors and demonstrate his love to hundreds of thousands of hurting people.  Please pray about how you might be used of God in this disaster.
